Hmmmm, komisch die Dame auf dem Fot schaut aber anders aus, als dass was bei Leave’s Eyes im Normalfall vorne an der Bühne steht. Das waren in etwa meine Gedanken, als ich das Banner zur neuen Leave’s Eyes Tour gesehen habe, welche noch diesen Monat startet. Und tatsächlich Liv Kristine hat nach knapp 13 Jahren die Band verlassen. Das Gründungsmitglied wurde durch die finnische Sängerin Elina Siirala, die zuvor bei Enkelination mitgemacht hatte. Aus den Statements liest man wie üblich nicht viel, was die Gründe angeht. Im Gegensatz zu amerikanischen Bands, scheinen die Europäer einfach viel netter zu sein. Trotzdem will ich die verschiedenen Statements nicht vorenthalten. Hier zuerst die Band Leave’s Eyes selber
„Liv was the female voice of the band since the beginning in 2003. Together we toured through 50 countries and 5 continents, moreover we recorded 6 studio albums with outstanding singer Liv. We are full of pride in what we have reached together! From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank Liv for amazing 13 years of being our front lady, the work we have done together and all the passion for music that we shared all these years! We wish Liv all the best for the future, her solo career and other projects! Liv will always be an important part of the Leaves’ Eyes history but now we are looking forward to a new chapter and the new musical adventures of Leaves’ Eyes!“

Jetzt bin ich mal gespannt ob da noch mehr kommt. Schliesslich ist Liv Kristine mit Alexander Krull, der auch in der Band spielt, verheiratet.
