With more than 40’000 albums sold since 1997 and the release of the album „Sell your Soul“, the swiss rockers of Sideburn certainly know how to rock and it’s not by chance that they impressed enough people in Hollywood to succeed in placing several of their tracks on movie trailers or soundtracks few years ago:

– 20 Century Fox Studios: 24 Hours (with Kiether Sutherland) – Season 8 – track “Six feet under
– Open Road Films : Trailer of the movie “Hit & Run“ (with Bradley Cooper) – track “Knockin at the wrong door
– 20th Century Fox Studios : “The Wolverine“ released in July – (with Hugh Jackmann) – song “Six feet under“ , etc…

But their main territory remains the stage, having played with the biggest bands of the industry like: Kiss, Motörhead, Def Leppard, Gotthard, Airbourne, Dio, Krokus, Ted Nugent, Thin Lizzy, Uriah Heep, Rose Tattoo, Doro, Y&T, Slade & more…., as well as about fifteen concerts in the mythical hall of the Z7 in Pratteln.

In 2012, the company Adidas hired them to compose the anthem „Rockstar“ and to accompany musically the climbers of the Adidas Rockstar during the whole event, performing during 3 hours at the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart !

In 2014 after mentioning the album „Cherry red“ as a reference album of the style & promoting « Electrify » on Airbourne’s social media, the singer and leader of Airbourne (Joel O’Keeffe) join them on stage to perform AC/DC’s standard T.N.T. at Guitare en Scène festival (France). They have also invited Sideburn to open for them few times in Switzerland.

Swiss rockers SIDEBURN will release their 9th album called « Fired up » on the 28th of August 2022 on the label MASSACRE Records. The follow-up to 2017’s „#EIGHT“ has been recorded early July 2021 at DA-MF Studio in Lausanne (Switzerland) by the platinum winning engineer & producer Dennis Ward, who has previously worked with bands such as Angra, Krokus, Tesla, Unisonic, Eden’s Curse, House of Lords, Pink Cream 69, Primal Fear, Robin Beck & more… He has also mixed & produced the album.

The famous american cover book artist Ivan Zann is, for the first time of his career, taking care of the artwork of the whole album.
