This goes out to all the fans, followers and people who have supported us over the last ten years. Because of different personal life situations of the band members, the band Battalion can’t continue with the same intensity as in the past. Therefore Silvan has decided to end the band. Alex, Clode and Samy regret, but respect his decision.
Silvan continues: «We’re standing at the crossroads. Only few weeks ago I had to admit, that the unit we once were, is not existing anymore… From back when we started out in 2006 until to this day, I have played this music with all of my blood: Every show – every song – every note! As the ways of Alex, Clode, Samy and myself are going in such different directions, it’s impossible to go on as before. If I’d continue, from now on, this would only be half-hearted. And I won’t play for Battalion half-hearted, this is only possible with all of my heart… or not at all! I have decided to end the band. I wanna say thanks to all the people who have supported us over the years, in good times and in bad times! I can’t find words to describe how I appreciated your support.»
