Vor knapp zwei Wochen waren die Engländer Fury aus Worcester zum ersten Mal überhaupt in ihrer Karriere für ein Konzert in der Schweiz. Im Anschluss konnte ich mich dann auch mit der Band noch ein wenig unterhalten und die Truppe strahlte so viel Freude und Spass aus, da dachte ich mir nichts kann das Wasser trüben. Nun musste ich lesen, dass Gitarrist Anthony „Ant“ Difford die Band verlassen wird. Ant hat dazu folgende Nachricht auf Facebook hinterlassen;
„It’s with a heavy heart and great sadness that at this time I must announce my departure from Fury.
With aspects of my personal life developing I feel that I can no longer offer the band the full attention that it requires and do not want to stand in the way of the band moving forward in anyway.We have had some amazing times together, played some great shows, made many new friends and created memories that will last a life time.
I will miss my band mates and the fans that have been so supportive since I joined.
This isn’t the end of the line for me, just a change of direction. And will notify you all of upcoming musical endeavours.I would like to thank Fury for allowing me to be apart of the journey and I want to wish them all the very best for the future and I’ll be there to support you all in the future.
As for now I’m going to take a short time out, but I will be back…

Es stehen zwar aktuell in der Schweiz keine Konzerte an, falls sich aber gerade jemand kurz vor Weihnachten in England befindet und eine wirklich coole Liveband erleben möchte darf beruhigt sein. Die anstehenden Termine im Dezember werden nicht ausfallen.
